A little about us, in our own words. We answered these questions separately, and some of our answers might surprise you!
What was your first date?
Pablo: Our first date was a walk in the plaza. It was the day we started dating.
Shayna: Pablo took me shoe shopping. We walked around the plaza at the center of the city, then went to a karaoke party that didn’t end until 3 a.m. We were both pretty annoyed because we both wanted to sleep.
Who is the better cook?
Pablo: I think it’s me, but I haven’t tried much of Shayna’s cooking yet!
Shayna: Pablo cooks more and is incredible. I like to be the sous-chef or make the dessert.
What is your favorite thing to do together?
Pablo: Going for walks, having ice cream, and talking for hours.
Shayna: Trying a new burger place and then walking in a park, or watching Pablo play football in the park while I listen to my favorite music.

Who is more likely to plan a surprise?
Pablo: I think Shayna. She always catches me off guard!
Shayna: Pablo!
Who is more adventurous when trying new foods?
Pablo: Shayna. I always stick with the foods I already know.
Shayna: We will both try anything once.
Did You Know?
What Bolivian food did Shayna fall in love with?
Pablo: Silpancho, Pique Macho, Caldo de Pecho.
What American food does Pablo love?
Shayna: American BBQ, mac and cheese, and apple pie.
Who do you think will control the thermostat in your home?
Pablo: Shayna. I can live with cold or hot weather!
Shayna: Pablo, but I’m turning on all the fans.
What will be the first purchase for your home?
Pablo: A sandwich maker.
Shayna: A panini press so Pablo can make me a perfect grilled cheese whenever I miss home.
Where do you see yourselves in ten years?
Pablo: I see a beautiful family, living in a lovely home with kids and pets.
Shayna: Living in a house we own in Bolivia, working at Pablo’s notary together, and being able to speak Spanish well enough that when we are preaching, I no longer only read the scripture.
